How to update/add my meal preferences?

While we don't currently cater to individual ingredient preferences, you can tell us which main proteins you'd rather skip β€” meat, fish/seafood, or vegan/vegetarian. That way, if you ever miss the recipe selection cutoff, we'll still pick recipes that suit how you like to eat.

Here's how to set it up:

  1. Log in to your Hello Chef account

  2. Head to Plan Settings in My Account

  3. In the Box Type section, pick your preferred way of eating from the Meal Preferences dropdown

That's it β€” if you forget to pick recipes one week, we'll choose from your preferred protein style only.
